FIX WHATEVER IS WRONG

Postby BEARKILLER » Sun Feb 18, 2007 9:52 am

Still, about three times out of four, I have to log in twice, and it will not "remember me."

Now, after I get logged in, I try to post and it will give me a screen saying I need to log in, although I already have.

I am in numerous forum sites and this is the only one that gives me trouble.

Thanks for your efforts.

Yup, 3 out of 4 times I log on I have to do it twice. I think once it remembered me when I got here. I'm usually on at least once a day, mostly twice.

That's a good suggestion. 8)

Dave is working on it, he's pretty new to this whole webmaster thing so bear with us.

the first thing suggestion i've found is to have you delete your cookies. you should be able to go in and delete just the ones with 1stgen.org in the name. that way it won't mess up any of your other sites.

ps. this is in regards to the "invalid session" issue. i'm looking for the signing in stuff now.

Has there been any progress on this issue?

I still can't stay logged in after I leave the site and come back a few seconds later.

Is everybody still having that problem or just me?

I check this site probaly 3 or 4 times a day. I have to sign in about every 3-5 days. Somewhat irritating, but not the end of the world for me.

I have to sign in whenever I come back. Or at least once every ten minutes if I'm not constantly on here.

It isn't as bad as at first; but, I can click on REPLY and sometimes it will log me out, making me have to start over again.

Sometimes I can stay logged on for a few days; sometimes I can't stay logged on for ten minutes.

I never know what will happen next.

P.S. Just now I tried to submit this and got that "internal server error" page again.

I visit numerous sites and this is the only one that gives me problems.

I have no idea what a cookie is, and less how to fix one.

Swank, did you get my PM on a new site board, the free one? I sent it about 2 months ago.

Here is the link:

I loved playing with it off-line. ;-)
