Postby txs » Thu Dec 10, 2009 1:49 pm

Would someone please tell me how to get the replies to send immediatly instead of going into the outbox and sitting there. also does this site host pics for a support fee?

I believe the way this message system works is it relies on the recipient retrieving or reading the message. It never actually "goes" anywhere.

As far as hosting pics goes, probably need to look into photobucket or something like that.

It goes in to the outbox until the person opens it. Once they open it it is stored in your sent box. And as said above ,, photobucket is the best way for pics. It works good and is free. Basically the only info this site carries when a pic from there is posted is the link to photobucket. That way this site does not have to store the picture file. Basically this site calls photobucket to display the picture when someone opens the thread. :)

thanks for the explanation of the pm deal, I see, said the blind man to his deaf and dumb daughter. I used to have a pbase account to host pics, let that lapse. some boards will sell pic hosting space to help pay the way, was just asking before I signed up some where. I think photo bucket has limitations, I didn't renew pbase because the editing and page management was awkward.

I have hundreds of photo's on photobuckett and have not had any issues. I do all the editing on my computer and just use them as a file holder.
