how do i post my avatar picture? when i try to down size the picture using photo bucket the site still says its to large

You need to resize and save it using Infanview. Maximum accepted size is specified where you are trying to upload it in your profile.

I had a problem doing this also, I found I was trying to use the wrong link. Dont know if photo bucket gives you more then one link as I use image shack.

It says:
Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 96 pixels, the height no greater than 96 pixels, and the file size no more than 10 KB.

So using Infanview you need to resize your picture to 10 KB size and save it to your computer in a location you can remember; then knowing the file name for the avitar you go to the next step which is:

Upload Avatar from your machine:/________/ /Browse/ <-Click on box

then click on the filename and upload.
