Control arm rivets

Anyone else have these become loose on their trucks? I took my truck to have it aligned and the place told me I needed a ball joint so I took it home to do the work and discovered it was not the ball joint moving, but rather the upper control arm. It looks like it has large rivets mounting it to the frame and they were loose. Anyone else have this happen or was my truck most likely wrecked at some point? thanks!
