getrag conversion

i have the stock 3-speed auto. runs great. but i like shifting. what all do i have to do to get a getrag or nv4500 manual transmission in my truck?
1989 d250 muffler delete diaphram turned, fuel screw turned, the lowes special intake

Send a PM to rbrettctd. He just did it in his 2wd. You will have to add a new input to your NP205, as the auto has a 23spline input, the Getrag a 29spline input.
