question about rads .....

Postby burnt_servo » Sat Jun 21, 2008 5:23 pm

i can get a rad out of a non intercooled w250 ,cummins / 3 speed auto cheap ( year unkown ... '89 maybe ) .

is this rad the same as what is in my '93 , intercooled cummins / with a 518 auto ?

or are there differences ? will the older rad still work properly in my newer truck ?

thx guys :)

Non intercooled rad is not the same as yours. They mount diff ,are not a cross flow, and are smaller in size

What he said. The rads from a non intercooled truck 89-91 are different from an intercooled 91.5-93 truck, as is the stat housing and rad hose. The newer setup is better. Shadrach
