The old critter of a truck has a cowl

The old critter of a truck has developed a cowl leak.

is there any special tools i need? never done a dodge one before and not an auto body guy. I assume a welder and some sheet metal . I plan on getting another cab so is there a fast fix till I find myself a cab?

I bet the leak is the windshield. The cowl crack problem doesn't leak inside. My floors rotted out because of this. 1st I thought it was coming in thru the side vent, then I figured out it leaked worse when the front was down hill. Water dripped off the drip edge, went down under the gasket, and migrated thru to the inside of the window gasket, running out under the dash and on the floor. I had a new window and gasket put in my new cab, and it still does it. Installer didn't seal the gasket to cab like I asked. Needless to say, they are gonna do it right.

do you mean on the top of the window or at the bottom ?

its on the drivers side oh and plus the pinch weld is rusting on the top drivers side . Is there a cyclone fix ? I am going into what looks like a crappy winter and the darn carpet smells like cat P*$$ every time it gets wet
