if i bypass the ralw do i have to unplug the thing behind the glove box? what happens if i dont? and what happens if i unplug it but dont bypass the ralw?

Unplugging the RWAL disables the idiot light and doesn't open the dump valve, ie firmer pedal. Bypassing it doesn't give the chance for it to open and get stuck open (as in my case) leaving you with no rear brakes. If you bypass, definitely unplug if you bypass to get rid of the idiot light.
