brake switch behind glove box door

is it the big grey clip that goes into box behind the glove box door? i unplugged it and it took off the abs light but not the other brake light. ther is a little black connector behind there also but ther is nothing plugged into it
91 w350 5spd dually. 5"stack, fuelpin, starwheel all in, smoke screw all in, homemade cold air intake

You unplugged the ABS brainbox. The other light is coming from the brake system itself probably because it is sensing a problem.

Check your parking brake set up. If the light/switch isnt right, or if the brake pedal doesnt come all the way back up, it will light the BRAKE light.
His- 93 W250 club cab LE, auto to Getrag conversion, piston lift pump, 3.54 LSD. 400k+

i unplugged the little black wire that goes to the ebrake but it stayed on

so i unplugged the right thing? lol, i wasent sure because i saw a picture on one of the stickys and they were pointing to a lilttle black clip i believe and i unplugged a big grey clip that goes into the box

You may have a vacuum problem. Pretty sure that makes the brake light come on too. Sender is behind the hood hinge on the drivers side.

Pete, you're right. I had forgotten that. Most of the vacuum systems I've tested were in the 20+ inHg range. Old 91 pulled 28 inHg.
