The new-springs one-way-lean...

Postby Begle1 » Sun Sep 23, 2007 1:48 pm

I put in new Moog 7226S's a few weeks ago.

After a couple weeks and a little over 1000 miles, the driver's side of the truck is 1-2 inches lower than the other side.

Apparently this is normal due to the added driver weight wearing down one side faster than the other?

So I put a couple hundred pounds of bricks on the passnager floor board... Or is there a better solution?

Did you happen to do a side by each comparison to the lower arms? They have ALOT of leverage on them. Pivot to spring to ball joint to wheel spindle. They are not the beefiest of parts. Could your drivers side be deformed?

Might want to check the body bushings also, the ones on the drivers side of the radiator support are shot on mine,
