I stopped at nappa and they could order it for me. prices are close to the same as listed on web site. Be advised it is in Canada , I don’t know how well the fit and finish is but I am going to order some parts

Let us know how it turns out. There are a bunch of us who are open to alternatives to the dealer. I would like to have the "DODGE" across the grille, but I have a "DODGE" emblemed hood I could use in its stead. Everyone and his brother has the blank grille it seems.

400 $ for the grill frame 137 for inserts 80 for the light doors
I burst out laughing on the phone .
I phoned another dealer and they said 300$ for the grill frame
Now i am choked!!! love to know what real price is ,I to would like to have the letters to but holy crap this is BS. anyways guess if ya want it ya have to pay for it

When I bought my new grille last year I was told list of $260 for the shell. The inserts were list of $43 each. I didn't price the headlight trim, yet.

My cost was less. My wife woks for Chysler. So I get some discounts other people don't. Plus the dealer I work with all the parts guy's know me. I pickup parts on a regular bases. I have been collecting parts for a couple of years getting ready for a rebuild of the body.

Realized I didn't order the insets so messed up.but it is over night delivery. I will post the fit and finish pictures with out the insets plus I have a stock right upper and lower . Interested to see if they will fit

I picked one up, NEW-OLD stock, at a swap-meet the other day, still in the box, minus inserts, twenty bucks.

The DODGE across the top is stuck on with adhesive; I don't think it comes on the grille-frame, but is either bought seperate or re-located from the old grille.

the part # from the "darn dealer" is 83506568AB. it list $279.00, trade $223.20. this is the chrome grille surround with the dodge letters across the top. i have 2 of them here for myself and a friend. there are presently 288 in the mopar system.

if you know someone with a shop or body shop you can get the part for trade price and you dont have to pay freight. if your lucky enough to have a 1st gen nut as a local parts guy, you could get it for less .

i know i've said this before but i'll post it again. check with the dealer before you make a big purchase. sure lots of the parts are stupid high priced but sometimes its worth the phone call.

btw, bearkiller that aint right. you stole that one . kinda like my swap meet banks intercooler deal. gotta be in the right place at the right time.
