Part compatabillity

Postby Shanga » Tue Dec 20, 2011 12:13 am

How's everyone doing?
I am new to the forum and hate to start out asking for advice but a bit stumped now. A couple of days ago I slid on some black ice and rammed my d250 into a curb. Bent right lower control arm. Now I am having a hell of a time finding a replacement. So I am trying to winden my search a bit and want to figure out what other years and models will fit the bill when it comes to suspension and body . thanks in advance to everyone.

Search your local wrecking yards and see what you could scrounge up. If no luck, PM Mark Nixon, he's got tons of 1st gen stuff, and he is pretty good to deal with too. I'm sure he's got what your looking for ;)

89-93 D250-D350 with the Cummins share the same lower arms.

Not quite right.
It's at least 1981 (possibly earlier) through January 2nd ,1990, then January 3rd, 1990 through 1993.

The difference?

The radius rod bolt holes are SMALLER on the pre-January 3rd 1990 trucks.

Mark.
