i was looking on this website http://www.100dollarman.com/tires.html and i notice these used humvee tires •Goodyear Hummer 36" x 12.50 x 16.5 bias ply. $75 $100
and the rims from this website are off the humvee and beedlocks for $75
has anybody ever ran this set up on this truck and if you have please let me now and how much of a lift.

#1, they are bias ply and not radials, radials ride a lot smoother.
#2, what is the weight rating? Are they rated to carry whatever you may haul?
#3, when were they made? I know regular tires have a DOT date code stamped on them, if they are over 4-5 years old, they are getting dry rotted and can come apart when put into service.

Not trying to pop your bubble, just throwing out things to watch for so you don't throw away your money.

I have had buddies buying military 36's that dont like them...they are dirt cheep but old. good for a truck that you may not be doing a ton of driving on...they are also loud :grin:

They are great for a dedicated farm truck that doesn't see much if any road use.
