D60 front Outer tube axle seals

Postby ahale2772 » Wed Nov 09, 2011 6:30 am

anyone ever tried/seen these?

http://mad4wd.com/index.php?main_page=p ... cts_id=162

seems like a good idea, ive got to pull my front carrier sometime before winter andchange my inner axle seals, but im sick of getting dirt in the axle tubes, or dirt on the splines when re-installing the shafts

im thinking even a homemade aluminum bushing pressed in might do the trick? just to keep the major stuff out

the axle should stay centered in the tube correct? even when in 4wd and turning?
