I can look around tonight and see if I kept any of the boxes that the studs came in...

Does the knurl diamter matter? I am finally to my brake project and want to change out the studs to 9/16. The k30 is similar except the knurl dia.

They work. Dorman 610-283 is another part number as what you had listed. These are the exact studs that I have used on both trucks I have owned. I recently converted my 91 to 9/16" studs.

To save some coin, I bought 30 studs (10 each per box) off ebay for $18 a box and a box of used 2nd gen lugnuts (32) for $25. The other two studs I sourced locally for an additional $6. First time I did the conversion, I used the parts store and it cost me almost $200 for all new parts, the nuts were the most expensive.

Like I said above, they work, even though the diameter is 0.001 or so difference. They still don't go in easy, I used a press this time instead of a BFH

Im pretty sure they are a different style stud since they are drums... I looked at the stock stud specs for the front and back and they are different.

Stock front
knurl: .651 inches
shouder length: 15/16 inches
thread: 1/2-20
length: 2 11/16 inches

Stock rear
Knurl: .625
Shoulder length: 3/4
same thread as above
length: 1 25/32 inches

Well, the two trucks I have converted take the same studs (9/16", pn 610-283) front and rear...

If yours are different for some strange case, let us know.

I love my air hammer for those jobs! Blows them right in and out. :D Especially if heavily rusted, and no torch handy. :)

For removal, I usually use my drilling hammer, one or two blows with that thing does the trick. Even though I have an air hammer, I will still press the new studs in, just because I have a press and I can :-P
