Rear hub leaking...

So my 70 right rear hub is leaking. I already put in a new seal. The area where the seal went into the hub looks a little tweaked. There is this thinner steel in there that was a little bent up and I think the seal didn't drive in square. Could the hub need replacement? Where do I find a Dana 70 hub?

That thin steel you speak of could be the douchebag guard thing that is in there to help prevent gear oil from getting on the brake surface in the event of a wheel seal leak. You probly just need to remove it entirely (wheel stud removal I think is required to do it), or bend it back out of your way to properly drive ANOTHER new seal in straight.

Oh ok. So my hub probably isn't bent right? And I can probably just bend it out of the way - drive in my new seal and then bend that thin metal back as long as I don't need to replace the hub.

yes, thats a slinger ring, made so that oil will seep out the front, on to the outside of the wheel to tell you the seal is leaking, they are a nice feature IMO, but they are always bent or full of crud. just bend it out of the way, shouldnt affect how you drive the seal in.
