That is not a good idea. The SRW wheel axles is almost 12" narrower than a dually axle.

I've thought about converting my w250 to dual wheels. I'd rather find a w350 club cab but they are few and far between. the few that i've looked at were absoulute junk.

Keep your eyes peeled and be patient, and when a nice one comes up that is fairly priced, nab it fast and don't be afraid to travel a bit. Before I got my 91 back, I was looking at trucks out of the southwestern part of the US, just because there is little to no rot down there..

Thanks for the info.

I hear you there. I'm actually doing a wide regional search.

Ballpark ? What do you think is fair price for a decent w350 club cab? I prefer auto but 5 speed will do if the deal presents itself.

Unfortunatley, the prices on 92-93 DRW club cab W350's in good shape is on the rise, especially Getrag trucks. Some low mileage, ultra clean ones on ebay have gone for $15k+. Personally, I wouldn't give over $7k for a decent one, but some folks have spent more. Mileage is something that doesn't bother me much, as long as it has been maintained regularly. Body rot is the biggest thing...
