Me too! 3 inch shoes, ABS delete and factory everything else. Stops like a dream. 8)

My brakes straight up blow.... I think my booster is going bad, every day my pedal feels different and every once in a while it doesn't hold it's spot.

i always preload used bearings. i have a few friends that are fleet mechanics for log and chip trucks and i just follow their routine:

tighten the nut down very snug with a 1/2" ratchet, then back it off 1/4 turn.

when i redid my brakes i used 1 3/16" cylinders with 3" shoes. stops great! only problem was the shoes didn't have the bracket to hook up the self adjusters so i have to adjust my brakes every few thousand miles or so
