brake light button

I'm having trouble keeping my brake light button in the right place. Anyone have any ideas on reinforcing the mount for the button.

i used a good hose clamp and tightened as hard as i could hand tightened, has helped up for a year now, also if anyone has ever lefted the pedal up with a foot or hand in order to get the lights to go out, it easily bent back
