Kool. I've learned what axle wrap is and what traction bars are too! I even kinda understand what you've done to your rear suspension! Thats too radical for me, but I admire your willingness to change that suspension! I'm going to talk to spring guy after holidays, see what he thinks…..
I probably should just not ride around in any late model diesel 4x4's anymore….. that is where my problems started!
My loaded fuel tank was working fine until an innocent ride in 09 chevy 3/4 diesel… rode like 1/2 ton, sounded like gas…..

My 12 3500 has only a slightly softer ride than my 93 which I thought was weird, but whatever. Maybe it's the bench seat being so soft it makes up for harder suspension

Gots_a_sol where did you get those lower bag mounts, nd whats the diameter on those bags? My d250 rides like chit... It'll almost knock your teeth out.

I'd like to use the bags from a Peterbilt low air leaf, but they're way too tall, like 14". Im thinking a bag off of a Kenworth. Large diameter. Id like to bag the front as well, but i don't see a good way to do a lower mount without having the bag in a bind.

There's some Kenworths that come in sometimes with really short airbags. I'll try to find out what it's called.

My Kenworth has the AG200 suspension. Those are the triangulated 4 link bags... the shorter ones. I want to try the AG400 bags, I think. Its either theAG400, or the AG100. I'ts still an 8 bag setup, but taller bags and uses a big sway bar underneath.

Look up Slam Specialties.

http://www.slamspecialties.com/compare.html

After talking with them, their RE7 and RE8's are a good replacement for our trucks. They are 200psi rated, the RE7's max height is close to our front coil springs, the rear with RE8s carry nearly 3k lbs a piece. MAny highly recommended reviews of people who switched from Firestone to the SS bags.

Bags are Slam Specialties SS-8's.

These are the axle brackets http://thorbros.com/bag-brackets/axle-b ... axle-lower
