Called Atlas this morning.... they are more than apologetic... they knew the 92 and 93 trucks get the 5/8" bolt... someone simply put in the wrong ones.

They are overnighting me the proper bushings. They offered the choice of that, or paying for shipping both ways on the front springs and for them to do it for me.

ALL companies make mistakes.... it is what happens after the mistake that matters.

Got the fronts on.... having major problems with getting my rear springs off.

Took it for a quick ride and so far it seems that the front has a tremendous "glide" over bumps to it....EVEN THOUGH, when pushing down on the truck they are RETARDEDLY stiffer than the rear springs. So far, it seems very obvious of the quality difference.

In short..... fronts seem to be absolutely bad Ass!

In the truck and drove it.........

WOW!!!! Very impressive, and I do need stronger shocks. I need to give them time to settle, because right now my truck is about 3" taller   (my 37" tires are barely in the fender well).

Has more body roll than before.... but again, I massively need new shocks.

All in all, it is a hugely lifted Cummins Ramcharger (super short wheel base).... so it is firm, YET it is by far the softest Cummins truck that I have ever been in with the exception of my CR... but that was a quad cab.

Update.... not sure if I'm just getting used to the ride, or they are getting stiffer... probably a little of both. :? I seem to notice bumps more than I did. But again though, it may be me just getting used to it and forgetting how bad it actually was.

2 things I do know... holy crap do I need shocks... and my f-ing brand new drive line is about to explode. I've already grenaded the slide yoke (up and down movement again after about 250 miles  ) and my u joints are spewing grease out faster than I can put it in. My driveline angle is also ( I fear ) too steep now, due to the 80 pushing everything way the hell forward.

Apparently I have to re invent the wheel..................AGAIN! :x

Did some pre re inventing today.......

I massively need shocks. After a long conversation on the phone with Atlas, we BOTH feel that the reason it is getting stiffer is because the shocks aren't doing their job. I confirmed this by rocking the vehicle back and forth.... after I counted to 5 rolls I  and realized things don't work right unless all supporting parts are in working order.

As far as driveline angles... I am pulling out the rear t-case yoke bearing and replacing it. I found that it is massively worn out and I can literally hear the yoke moving up and down. Only imagine what it does under torque. I feel that is why I'm getting the vibration and why it is tearing out my shaft/joints so quickly.
