Which ball joints?

Postby jdiesel_us » Wed Jul 16, 2014 6:59 am

Ok I have a 91 non intercooled w350. When I look at rockauto.com it offers 2 different ball joints how do I determine which ones I need?

if you have a w350 you don't have ball joints you have king pins.
92 D350 Cab and Chassis. Auto stock, wiring gremlins. 330k miles
92 W250 Ext cab rotted completely out. Auto, pump maxed, 215 ppump nozzles, Denny T2 pin.
85 D350 single wheel, converted to cummins, getrag, turned up 2 turns and afc screw flush.

I just did this on my non-ic 91 D350. I ended up needed both upper control arms because they were both cracked out at the ball joint area. One failed which is what caused me to do the whole front suspension.

Wow I just checked mine for play but I hope I don't need several other parts like control arms.
