If one wants to spend the time searching for parts, a GM drag link can be used. Only thing is that the pitman arm will have to be reamed to the GM taper (not 100% positive, but pretty sure), everything else is bolt on and go. In short, one would need a steering arm/kingpin cap off a GM D60, a GM adjustable drag link, and have the pitman arm reamed.

Spot on Ike. That's exactly what the PO did to my truck. That adjustable draglink was really nice when I put lift springs in the front. He also put the steering box in the 2wd position.

Basically you are mounting the steering gear directly on the frame without the mounting plate....iirc.

10 4 Ike hafts look at that closer when the time comes. I've been looking at the skyjacker drag link and curious if the quality is still there. 260 bucks is more than I want to spend but if it last 10+ years it will outlast the truck haha

I ended up getting another MOOG drag link for now- Skyjacker just wasnt in the budget this week, and it wouldnt wait any longer. Lifetime warranty at the Big O. When it wears out in a year or two, I can get my money back and out it toward the Skyjacker. I am also leery of buying things sight unseen online......

Discovered yesterdayI also have a TRE that got replaced in May or June with slack. Nice. I guess MO roads are rougher than I gave them credit for.
