92 dana 70 and 70's dana 70.

Would it be possible to swap 3.55 gears and posi out of a 92 into a 74ish dana 70 dually rear end?? I assume the rear is a 70s rearend is a dana70.
92 D350 Cab and Chassis. Auto stock, wiring gremlins. 330k miles
92 W250 Ext cab rotted completely out. Auto, pump maxed, 215 ppump nozzles, Denny T2 pin.
85 D350 single wheel, converted to cummins, getrag, turned up 2 turns and afc screw flush.

Nope they are 4 hours south of me at the moment. Is that stamped on the axle??

Yeah, supposedly on the forward, passenger side of the pumpkin, though I couldn't find it on either of mine. =\

The 74 Dana 70 should be a 35 spline axle. Your 92 dana 70 will be a 32 spline if it's from a w/d250, and a 35 spline if it's a dually 70. The gears should work but the posi won't unless they are both the same axle spline count or you swap the axle shafts too, if they are the same width.
