2wd pickup with 285 75 16 tires

Postby cummins1992 » Wed Oct 29, 2014 8:21 pm

How big of tires will fit on a D250? I have a set of 285 75 16 tires I got for nothing and they have more tread than the 265 75 16 tires that are on my pickup right now. Do you think those will fit on my 2wd rig?

I have 265/75/16's on my truck. I have moog heavy duty springs up front and they level it out a bit. With the springs the front tires rubbed a bit on the fender flares while turning. I wound up shaving about an inch off the inner corners of the flares and have had no problems since. I think 285s might work if you take the flares off or cut them back alot further.
