Postby Darkride » Thu Nov 20, 2014 5:58 pm

I got a 93 the pedal was really touchie when i first got it and i checked the front brakes and both the calipers were stuck and rotors were in bad shape. so i bought some new ones and put them on and and checked the back brakes and adjusted them and blead them everything worked really weel for about two days brakes felt awesome! but now its back in the same shape and brakes catch really bad and it feels like the back brakes are the only ones working. Any ideas on what could be wrong? thanks.

Sound's like you have a Bad master cyl.Gravity bleed the front brakes make sure you don't have a Line leaking also.

Did you replace the hoses from the frame to the calipers??

You haven't said if the truck is 2WD or $X$. If it is $X$ those brake hoses do a 180 degree turn in the normal travel of the wheel assembly. Those hoses can break down inside from all the repeated flexing. When this happens it will allow fluid to move one direction. But it can block fluid from moving the other. This restriction in the fluid flow can lead to what looks like sticking calipers, hard pedal, lack of braking on said wheel or axle, pull on application of brakes.

Replace the hoses and report back.
