The upper ball joints screw in they don't press in.

Good luck with that whole thing. After threading them in you will soon realize that they will not stay that way with the truck loaded down hitting a bump. So I got out the ole welder and made sure they won't move.

That's why you replace the upper arms

I bought new arms, new ball joints, put the new joints into the new arms, and STILL burned them into the arm. I'll just replace the arm if that upper joint ever needs replacing.
