Where to find front DRW hubs 4x4

Postby texans » Sun Feb 01, 2015 9:03 am

Hey guys. Found this site looking for hubs. Great site BTW. I'm in the process of converting my 91 w350 4x4 into a drw. I already have 1st dRW wheels as well as the deafens installed. I've been searching for the correct hubs for the front. Anyone know where these can be found?

Welcome to the site. There are a few who can probably help out. This should probably be in the wanted section.

Your best bet would be to go to Pirate4x4.com and post in their Wanted section. Theres usually a number of dudes sitting on DRW d60f's waiting for someone to trade hubs with. Might get lucky and someone already has them off the axle and can ship right when you ship your srw hubs.

Hineman has a dually front axle, he may be willing to trade.

I'll him point him here.

Still no luck. And to top it off found out that the rear ended I found has one axel tube that is screwed up. Now I back to needing rear end and front hubs. Everyone that keeps sending me a PM on pirate4x4 has Chevy front hubs

It's a Dana 60. Not a Chevy, not a Dodge, not a Ford, for the most part. The Chevy hubs will work just fine. They most likely will come with 9/16's wheel studs, so you'll have to buy new 5/8's if you want to use DODGE steel wheels.

So the bolt patern are the same? Just need the correct studs? If that's the case where do I get the correct studs? I thought that I would need the dodge version since I have the dodge 1 gen dually wheels. This is really good to know.

Nope, our trucks are not hubcentric so use the chevy stuff if that what you can find easily. Dorman 610-281 is the number you are looking for.

Yup, I'm using Chevy SW hubs on my front axle, bolted right up and even use the same lockout.
