extended cab swap and goodies

Postby bennett_jacob » Fri Mar 06, 2015 10:31 pm

Doing it right so it may take me a few but should have pictures to post this upcoming week it is a 93 extended cab going on a 90 4x4 frame everything is just about ready to go together. I just got today a factory replacement grill still in the plastic from dodge I don't know how the guy had it but for 50 bucks couldn't beat it. I still have to get the radiator support and stuff but all in time. If I can figure out how to post pictures I will

Sounds interesting. Are you stretching the frame or going to channel the cab to clear the frame rails? What are your plans for A bed?

We have actually started getting things ready. We are going to leave the frame alone and extend the rear cab mounts 18in then section the bed 18in but it.has to be done in front of the gas fill door to keep wheel wells the same and mounts the same. It helps that I got the frame with the extend cab so I have I for the measurements on where things need to go. To bad it Is 2wd or I would have wrapped the motor and called it good

Why don't you just swap the 4ws stuff and motor over?

Your going to have to run a body lift or section the cab floor to clear the rails. It would be way easier to swap the 4wd stuff to me. Make sure you post pics.
