Help a Dodge noob on some frame questions...

Postby GPW » Sun May 24, 2015 3:09 pm

So I am currently trying to locate a decent frame for my 1992 W250 5speed 4x4 Diesel...
and what I'm finding is just 2wd frames, that and I am kind of looking at the club cabs because I've got a kid due in October.
There is a 1990 club cab for dirt cheap afew miles away but its a D150 auto, and as I understand they are a 8" frame and I have a 7" frame. I know I could do the 4x4 swap and tranny tunnel cut and bolt in but is there going to be any other issues with the frame size difference and will there be front spring hangers on it?
I've looked through the forums and maybe I missed something but I really just need to figure this out, same guy has a 2wd d250 frame as well, but like I said the club cab would be better...
Any info greatly appreciated

Oh and there will be a build page as well, will be building this rig into my Hauling, hunting and having fun rig

Take a look through my build thread...I converted my Cummins crewcab from 2wd to 4wd last year. I used the original 2wd frame and removed all teh 2wd stuff, then stripped a 4wd frame and put all the parts over.
1984/93 Dodge Crewcab, W350, 1 Ton SRW, long box, 330K Km's, M&H spacer, 366 spring, fuel pin to deep side, 14cm housing, Piston LP, PS IC, Isspro Boost, Pyro and tach, NV4500, 29 spline NP205, 3.54's.
