Blue plastic on the driveshaft splines

Postby Collers9640 » Thu Oct 19, 2017 10:01 am

The blue plastic on my driveshaft is destroyed.
Does anyone know what I can do to fix it?

my guess would be that you would need to have it replaced at a driveline shop. Or in the meantime I would clean it up the best I could....cut/scrape off what you cna to make it operate smoothly, then use a good thick HD grease and pack the coupler and splines with it. Might even consider drilling and installing a grease nipple on the outer housing so I could keep it chocked full of grease.

That’s what I was fearing I would have to do. Thanks for the input
