where to buy rear spring degree shims ?

Postby jethro » Fri Jul 27, 2018 2:41 pm

I am looking for a pair of 3 degree rear spring wedge shims. My springs are 3 inches wide----
so I would think I would want a 3 inch wide shim... (right?)

I just put in a gear vendor's overdrive and am correcting the pinion angle to match the
output on the GV unit.

Cant seem to find a 3 degree -3 inch …….. anyone have a source...…..
I will fire up the milling machine if I have to.... but I don't want to...… figuring out how to hold
the work down on that would be a major PITA !

Thanks ahead of time for any ideas ……..

Summit Racing or Jegs had a few options. W.F.O. Concepts may as well.
Found mainly aluminum ones, but there were a few steel options as well

I got mine at truckspring before, though I forgot the brand.

Are there any local spring shops near you? Most will have plenty in stock and will sell cheap to you
