1 ton chebby wheel cylinders vs rear disc.

Postby mhuppertz » Tue Feb 26, 2008 9:09 pm

So I have the brackets for the rear disc conversion, but am now heavily in debt because the axle and the well needs time to refill. Would it be worth doing the Chebby bomb now, or just wait, or is the 1 ton wheel cylinder trick just as good or better than the rear disc conversion????

I did the 1-ton cylinders on my 96 D70 and it was an amazing difference. I haven't done it yet for the 2nd gen D70 I just swapped into my 93, I about broke the bank getting shocks for it!!
I don't know if a disc conversion would be worth it to me, but if you already have the brackets, can you get the rest of what you need from a wrecking yard for pretty cheap?
