Maddog, nice build, I just went all the way through the 9 pages, sweet. You and Pete are gonna make me go get a Ramcharger tank for my crew cab. I like to do things the wrong way the first time  , unfortunately  , so for mine I'd just use one of the Shurflo water pumps I have laying around and use it just to transfer fuel from the Charger tank to the main tank when it got low via a switch. Just not do like Pete and forget to turn the switch off and shower the close followers with liquid gold  .

Hey! Fuel was cheaper then!

Maddog, I went thru the rest of it. WOW! That's a bad rig, I love it! I'm not sure on the stack halo though. Something I'm not used to seeing. You gotta post pics on here and TDR when you get it done.
I wish I had the money and time to do something like that. I can't hardly get the time to do a cab swap!

Maddog,
Don't forget, you have to trim the insulation on the tappet cover to get the line to sit right. ;-)

Thanks for the props.
Pete, the stack exo is strictly for protection. Where I'm going AAA doesn't.
Because I'm upgrading the fuel and return line(s), Do I still need fuel line 3914753, seals 2ea 3918191?

If your going to use the stock fuel filter in its stock position you will.

Philip is right. The piston pump outlet is angled towards the block. The new line tips out and up, going to the stock filter inlet.

I understand about the exo, it just looks weird to me. ;)

Maddog, if you are closer to a Case/IH dealer, change the first "3" to a "J". They can get you the parts. Might be cheaper, might not.

Thanks for the Case/Ih heads up Pete.
Parts total -
Cummins- $233.35
Case/IH - $167.94
Difference - $65.41 that's alot of beer money :D

That's a good savings! I got it for about $100, but I get parts at cost. ;) Sometimes the price is higher too. I got a .020 head gasket for $95, my buddy found it for $75.
Save a couple bucks of that money in case I'm nearby, you can buy me one! :D
