Example serial numbers

So whenever I call Cummins for a part, I get asked "what is the engine serial number?".

But my engine's serial number has been rendered unreadable in the past 19 years of my truck's life.

Would anybody with a non-intercooled first gen Cummins be so kind as to post up their engine serial number, so that I would have something to give to Cummins when I'm trying to find a gasket or other part?

Wouldn't be bad to have a serial number for an intercooled first gen either, just for reference's sake.

My intercooled 92.5- CPL 1579. 44756293. That is the only one I know off the top of my head.

My early 91 had a non-original gear case, and no data tag. I think Bill has one of the most worked on trucks in the country, at least going by engine serial number :D
His- 93 W250 club cab LE, auto to Getrag conversion, piston lift pump, 3.54 LSD. 400k+
Hers- 04 QC 4x4. Built auto, Triple Dog, Air Dog. Funny Round truck that aint so quiet.

A search on DTR with my name and ESN should bring up both. I don't have them on this computer or I'd give them to you.

But I can't do a search on DTR...

Wannadiesel keeps banning my accounts...

Bill, I tried searching, and no luck. You mention ESN in 4 or 5 threads, but no numbers.

If you get me the last 8 digits of your truck VIN I can get you the engine serial number that came in that truck. Shadrach
