How much front spring travel do you guys have on the front axle.. How much space is between the spring and the stops?? Everything looks normal.. just doesn't look like much travel to me..

Thanks guys... I think the springs are a little weak...
the drivers side has about 1/2in.. and passangers side is about 1in..
We are looking at adding some weight to the front of the truck for pulling.. and I think its just going to sit on the stops.. (If they make the class 8000lbs.. its going to be on the stops for sure..) but I really don't want to lift it much.. worried about the drive line angles while pulling...

If it needs a little lift.. new springs?? or rearch?? I guess new and more springs?? (not too worried about the ride.)

Don't worry about it, let it set on the stops. I'll bet the drive line angle will be fine. If you hitch is set up right, and the back is stiff, the front of the truck will still rise a little after you pull the chain tight, and stay up going down the track. On my pulling truck, I've actually removed one spring, and may cut part of another one out. In the classes I run I usually can't run front weights. Too much spring up front will cause bouncing up front. Drop the front tire pressure down a bunch too. I usually run about 14 psi in the front of my 33x12.5x16.5s.
