Broken spring pack!

Postby mhuppertz » Sun Jun 15, 2008 7:45 pm

I have a broken centering pin on my front, left axle. This is causing the u-bolts to move no matter how tight I have then cranked down. I have a replacement set ready to go, but my question is this: do any of you think that movement could change the camber enough to wear my tire move on the inside?

is it just the pin thats broke? at my old parts store job, we sold new bolts specifically for spring packs. I would much rather try to do that rather than swap a whole spring pack myself.

The spring pack is shot (very tired) and I inherited a fairly new set of load levelers for the front.

It could. If the axle moves back, it will change the track enough that the tire will scuff because its going a little sideways.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.
