Single cab steps?

Postby whereswaldo250 » Thu Jan 04, 2007 9:26 pm

I have a single cab and I cannot find any steps/nerf bars for my truck. Does anybody know where I can get some, cause I'm tired of leaping into my truck.

Thanks Ben

I made mine out of 4" square tubing & welded them to the frame. I didn't waste any bolts!

How do they look? Good? I was also thinking square tubing. I just want to make sure that there isn't any aftermarket steps out there.

I think that they look OK. If you go to Members Endeavors & click on my ad there is a link to my pictures in TDR, see what you think.

Yeah you right they do look nice on your truck. I gues it is time to get the tap measure out and the welder and get to work!

Ben, There is still a generic step out there. The company is called Steel Horse Industries. You can find them at Pep Boys for sure, and maybe others. It's an aluminum "stirrup" kind of step. They make them in a smaller (about 10" wide) and a larger (about 14"). I have also seen these on EBay.
