what dually rims will work?

Postby U.S MMA » Wed Dec 17, 2008 6:31 pm

Im looking to finish my swap with some front spacers. I know that the rims on my d70 have a designated inner and an outer, that fit together only one way. Id like to get rims that i can swap all the way around, for tire life, but do duallys work like that? As it is now, i would need 3 spares, which for obvious reasons isn't going to work. School me on the coined and flat lugs? what do I need? thanks men.

I don't know much about this topic myself, but yu might be better off finding a set of wheels you like, then post and ask if they will work for your truck. Dually wheels are a apin to shop for if you don't know what to look for, (and I don't.)

Randy I have an aluminum outer and steel inner. I just got tires and the guy at the shop told me the rims fit together only one way. Is that what you mean by alignment pin? I need to call some of these companies that make dually adapters and find out what rims they are specified for. Im hoping they will match my d70. If right now I could just find a dual rim that would work as a spare, im driving to alaska in april and would like a spare tire.
