Fuel Line Size Question??

Postby Diesel Dan » Thu Jan 29, 2009 8:55 pm

im getting dual aluminum tanks built this week and have to decide on a fuel line size. me being kinda new to this diesel performance stuff wasn't sure if 3/8 was big enough or if 1/2 would be better..
(they also offer 3/4 :D )

or maybe i should ask it like this
what can i expect my horsepower restrictions to be if i go (only) to 3/8 instead of 1/2

i dont plan on making this thing a crazy HP machine but want it to preform decent.....

should i just suck it up and pay the extra money (on both tanks) and upgrade it all the way to 1/2????

any and all comments, answers or replies would be greatly appreciated

I'm all for overkill, but 3/8" should be plenty. If you run it through the stock fuel filter and heater then it doesn't matter how big you go, because that'll b ea restriction.
