Does yours have the 1/2" or 9/16" spring bolt in that bracket?

That means it is the later diesel specific version. I will see if I can find one but I suspect it will be hard to come by. I would recommend just taking it off and taking it to a welding fab shop. some 3/8" steel plate and a bandsaw and a drill press and one could be replicated in probably 2 hours. Probably be cheaper and easier than chasing every salvage yard around looking for one so you can lay on your back with a grinder taking rivets out. :(

I called my local Chrysler dealer and they say it is no longer available. Of course they are idiots and couldnt find one if it was laying on their keyboard, so hopefully someone with a good connection to a good dealer can check and see if it is still available as a frame repair component or not.

Great Job Cajun!! I suspect his will be the 92 part# since his has the 9/16 bolts, can you verify if the 89-91 has 1/2" bolts or it has 9/16" like the 92-93 did?

OK, did some digging.

89 shows 1/2" bolts only
90-93 shows 1/2" and 5/8" bolts

the catalog does not give any info on the spring hangers other than the year models. \
frame part #'s are different for each year, so thats no help.
also makes no difference between eta (non-intercooled) and etb (intercooled) engine options

also shows same spring brackets for 5 6 and 7 series trucks (w150,250,and 350 respectively)

best guess is the number provided above but without it mentioning bolt size, it is a guess

sorry,
daryl

if your serious, pm me with a fax# and i'll try to send you the pics.

I forgot the bolt is kind of a shouldered bolt so it is considered a 5/8" probably. From what I know the big bolt is diesel specific meaning it is w250/w350 specific, and it was introduced sometime in 1991, I would assume when the IC trucks came out, but knowing Dodge and their reputation of DIFFRENT they probably just used whatever they felt like on every truck. LOL So in the catalog for say a 1992 w350 listing the 5/8 bolt is it a diffrent part number monut than what you listed above, or did they just expect you to drill a bigger hole?
Someday I am going to obtain a paper parts book for these trucks!!!! :D

the 92 #52057901 shows to be 92 only and is the only lh front # for the 92 :? , here's the kicker though, go into the cataloug on spring and it shows 1/2 and 5/8 bolts? i think it's a carryover mistake. i think the 91 number will be right.

just one other thing, dodge does not distinguish between a 91 and 91.5 model. the engine code is used to determine the parts. now you know why old parts guys are bald

Yep because both my 92 and 93 w350's have the same front hanger and both use the big bolt. "Dodge Diffrent" and by that they meant every stinkin one of them!! LOL There is no such thing as identical dodges, same year some model might have diffrent length driveshafts in it or a diffrent part number PCM despite being equipped identical to another truck. The dodge parts interchangebility drives me nuts!!!! Ifeel for you man, not only does dodges parts look up system lack a very good interface, but you have about a 1 in 10 chance of getting the right part even when you know what you want because the catalog doesnt match what they built!!
