2 -9/16's should be the one.

I changed my front and back brakes and my pedal is soft now and goes down farther than it did before. I never opened the bleeders so i wouldnt think I got air In the system. Any suggestions Also the 2 and 9/16 was like one size to big but still worked good thanks

I tightened them a little but probably not enough. The old shoes I took off were 2 and a half wide and i put 3 on so I wanted to were that grove off alittle. Tighten them till they lock the wheel then back them off a little right???

Found The Problem

Postby 90FIRSTGEN CUMMINS » Thu Apr 23, 2009 9:55 am

I went out this morning and got in the old girl and when I pushed the brake I herd a loud POP in the front. My assumption is there was a caliper hung up. Brakes are working great now which is good considering Im pulling a trailer load of furnature to Fredericksburg Va tomorrow. Thanks for the help Jason
