I ran into the same thing when I did mine. I was told the ones fo $79. were made in China and thats what I put on mine not by choice. Make sure your parking brake lever Works freely, mine didn't and I ground up the shoes on one side.

I would recommend Bendix or Wagner drums. The bendix are more pricey but I have had good luck with them. I had a set of Napas that were about $70ea that I had to turn in my lathe new because they had run out and caused brake shudder.

It always brings up this question in my mind: Is it made in the USA or Canada or is it just branded and packaged there?

i got a new set of rotor for my truck about 3 years ago. i got the cheaper china ones. i thank they were around 60 for a pair. its like they say (you get what you pay for). they were worn out in less than 20k miles. they were warped again. i took them to the parts store. and of course they couldnt machine them out. so i had to buy new one. ended pay 220 for the best one they had. havent had any problems out of them. so i would say, buy the best the first time around. just my opinion.
