OK, holiday weekend with no bosses around and nothing to un-break. I got my 92 in the barn and crawled underneath to "inspect" the undercarriage.
The rear drive shaft U-joints are shot.
The rear yoke is spread.
And the center support is well, a hoop would do a better job.
How securely should the center support hold the drive shaft?
Seems odd to me were they put the support. You would think at the end of the short shaft by the u-joint would be the best place, but they put it near the middle. That would give the long shaft some leverage to swing out of place.
