Steering coupler repair sources?

Postby dpuckett » Wed Nov 04, 2009 8:49 am

I cant find one through Dodge anymore, and I really dont want to spend $200+ on a Borgeson shaft for something that can be fixed just as well (for a time) for 1/10th as much. So, Philip, et al, where can the coupler kits be acquired? I found a few on ebay, but I want to make sure the stuff will fit the trucks, too. DOnt really care about the cars at this point.

Thanks.

When I did the green truck a few years ago the whole thing cost me about $30. Box, pins, spring, shoes, gasket and cover.
Do yourself a favor, use an innertube or something for a cover gasket and a hose clamp on the column shaft.
The stockers suck and water is what kills these things. ;)

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

Did you by chance save your receipt with the part number?
