want to lower a 92' d250 2wd

so I have a 1992 d250. 2wd, and i want to lower the front end about 2". Has anyone done it and how?

carefully heat up the coil springs until your happy with the hieght. Just be careful of the shocks, and anything else flamible.
1992 cummins, 2wd, A518, WH1c, 60mm,12cm housing, fuel screws maxxed, fuel pin turned and ground, 3200rpm spring, big Amsoil air filter, 4" stack, timming bumped, piston lift pump, Bosch 190's, 18" Maxxi Hulk rims, and Nitto Terra Grapplers.

Ya I'd not heat the springs. You could get them too hot and they could crystallize and next big bump you take could follow up with snap, baam, boom when it breaks. Take out the spring and cut off one coil. That will make her low.
