Facebook page

Postby swank » Sun Apr 10, 2011 8:34 pm

Hi Everybody. Just wanted to let ya'll know that I just put a Facebook page together for the site. All I'm figuring it'll be good for is if the site goes down like it does on occasion, or if you are having some other kind of trouble accessing or something. All I plan on using it for is an easy way to just check on if the site is ok.

The link is:

http://www.facebook.com/1stgen

Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there.

Eeewwww, Facebook! I bet me and fatty are the only people in the world that don't have it.

Thanks Swank, if I ever figure out the whole Facebook thing it may be handy.

I don't have facebook either. Not really into the whole " network " kind of thing. Plus I thought you needed " friends " to have facebook. I don't have any of those. Just ask Pete how ugly I am and you would understand. 8)

Trust me, you're not missing out on much. I just figured it'd be a good way to let folks know what's going on if things go awry or something. We'll see. I don't think there are many people who are into 1st gens AND facebook though.

I don't want to know what Richie is doing on a Friday night when I get home to watch the news... I do have Facebook and its great to find some of your old buddies and see what they are up too.

You are NOT alone. I'm NOT on facebook, twitter, nor do I have a cellphone since I retired. How's that for isolationism?

facebook can be fun when you have a good group of friends, its good that you can control exacly what you want to get out, therefore if you are carefull about it there is minimal risk of sharing info that you dont want out.

Its not that bad. I've had one for awhile to find some highschool buddies that I lost touch with when I moved to texas. I'm hardly ever on it now.

What's wrong with a green car? And yes, Rich is hideous! He scared my dog into early labor, and it's a boy!
Snoot, I'm waiting to watch the news and see Richie on it, I figure he's just about ready to go Postal..........
