Thoughts and prayers for JR (Cowboy_Customs)

Postby g1625s » Sun May 20, 2007 5:20 pm

My good friend and yours, JR (Cowboy_Customs), was involved in a single-vehicle accident early Saturday morning. He is in the hospital and is very banged up. Amazingly, he sustained no internal injuries that the docs can find, only a bump on the head. He is conscious and very much aware (despite the morphine drip) and even cracked a smile when I saw him this afternoon. Still, he's going to be laid up for several weeks. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers through the early stages of this difficult recovery period--I know he would appreciate it. Sadly, the dually didn't survive the ordeal. That truck gave its life for his.

Will do. I've got duplicate threads running on cumminsforum.com in the NY section and DTR in the 1st gen forum.

I just left the hospital an hour ago. He's much more himself today---better drugs, I think! He seems very grateful for all of the well-wishes--thanks everyone!
