Sill Guards

Postby PJ 3 » Thu Apr 12, 2012 1:34 pm

I had some 1/8 aluminum laying around so I cut it 29 3/4 x 2 3/8 th and rounded the edges. I was going to use rivets but I didn't want to drill holes in my rockers. I bonded it to the cab with 3M two sided tape. A little polishing to do and it will be done. Now to get some OEM sill plates to finish it up.
Someone with some machining skills could engrave a logo on the ones they build.......cummins, dodge, etc. It would look pretty sweet ! 8)
