Bedrail Tie Downs

Postby matthewh » Tue Apr 19, 2016 6:57 pm

Having became rather irritated with trying to strap anything down in the bed, especially since I have a toolbox and can't reach the forward stake pockets, I came up with this.

I left the space ahead of the tool box for a headache rack, possibly one that incorporates stacks similar to what 93oneton did, haven't decided yet. I was trying to wait till it was all done, but needed tie points for hauling some larger tools from my old shop, so I threw them in

That's freakin' slick!!! :thumleft:

I was going to use some random parts that the linemen use at work, mostly 5/8"-11 stuff, like eye nuts and stainless bolts...

Its random scraps we had laying around at work, leftover stainless sheet and round bar, stuff too small to use for jobs, that gets tossed in the dumpster.

Always found one of the benefits here is unlimited access to the laser table and brake press, makes building anything so much better and end result is that much nicer
